Emergency personnel work to extract Dolores Wallace from her vehicle at 23rd and Adams Monday. Brandon Ford, 23, of Hutchinson was traveling northbound on Adams in a red Dodge Avenger when his car was struck by a maroon Buick traveling westbound on 23rd Avenue, according to Hutchinson police officer Darrell Tossie. The Buick, which was driven by Dolores Wallace of Hutchinson, apparently ran a stop sign on 23rd Avenue, Tossie said.

Hutchinson Police escort three male youths into separate police cars at 24 West Fifth where they allegedly broke into a vacant building and started a fire in the basement Sunday afternoon. Timothy J. Brown, 18, 129 East Campbell, and two juveniles, ages 14 and 15, were taken into custody for alleged burglary and arson after they were apprehended on the roof of the building.
